meet Dr. Grossman
R. Daniel Grossman, M.D. has been a resident of Bloomington, IN for nearly his entire life. A decorated quarterback and linebacker for Indiana University during college, he went on to receive his medical degree from IU School of Medicine and completed his residency in ophthalmology at Baylor College of Medicine. He founded The Eye Center of Southern Indiana in 1980. Dr. Grossman has long been recognized as a key figure in local healthcare. As one of the most experienced cataract surgeons in the country, he has performed more than 42,000 cataract surgeries and laser procedures with consistently excellent results.
Always an athlete at heart, Dr. Grossman loves watching sports and spending time with family, including his wife, Maureen, and their children and grandchildren: Rex and Alison Grossman; Amy, Brad, Bonnie, Ella, and Cal Bostic; Ashley, Alex, Cooper, Noah, and Francesca Fox.
